M PHIL ADMISSION 2014 IN INDIA
Master of philosophy is a post graduate research degree generally held after the post graduation. It can be defined as the half way for Doctor of Philosophy. In general the course of study consists of a thesis (same as the Ph.D.) and 25% theoretical material. The degree is offered by the UGC only.
55% marks in relevant master degree program is the required qualification for M.Phil.

The fee structure for M.Phil is one forth of any Ph.D. degree. It ranges from 35,000 to 60,000 without personal guide. Guide fees ranges from 20,000 to 40,000 in general.
After having M.Phil degree from any recognized university you are eligible to apply in your Ph.D. program. You can apply as any administrative stuff in any recognized university.
